Welcome to the website of the Institute of Algebra and Geometry (IAG)

The Institute of Algebra and Geometry consists of several research groups in the fields of algebra, geometry, topology, discrete mathematics and didactics. The respective working groups organize weekly research seminars. In addition to the research activities, we offer a PhD program and courses at Bachelor and Master level in the above-mentioned areas. We also organize courses in mathematics for teachers and for other KIT faculties such as mechanical engineering and computer science.
